European Youth Music Week is an unforgettable summer programme for talented musicians aged 18–28. Bringing together young people from around the world, it offers a week of orchestral and chamber music, inspiring performances, and lasting friendships.
For over 50 years, the event has connected young musicians through high-quality music-making, cultural exchange, and shared experiences. Join us to develop your skills, meet like-minded musicians, and create memories that last a lifetime.

Our Refugee Choir has been a beacon of hope and creativity since 2018. It all started in Oakham, England, and continued in Ede, Netherlands, when we invited young refugees to perform with the European Youth Music Week orchestra. The choir has performed at Leicester Cathedral, Amnesty International’s Midlands Conference, as part of the Royal Society of Arts’ Change Stories, the Bristol Beacon, the Bristol Refugee Festival and even as part of Eurovision programming alongside '90s runner-up Sonia. Dive into our inspiring journey and discover the exciting future plans for this incredible group!

European Youth Music has a history spanning over 50 years with over 2,000 participants. We have a strong alumni global community, and in 2022, we celebrated our 50th anniversary by reuniting alumni for a special performance. Performers ranged from the early days when we were known as Anglo-German Music with Jeff Babb to more recent participants. We're proud of the international musical community we've created, which includes a few weddings among past participants! Join us in celebrating decades of music, memories, and friendship.

European Youth Music Schools is an exciting new development that will bring together a growing network of schools committed to supporting our work and ethos. As the network develops, participating schools will become important hubs for EYM activities. Our future plans include running competitions, performances and other EYM events within these schools, giving young musicians opportunities to challenge themselves and share their talents with an international audience.
